Start with part envelope and workflow
Measure the longest, widest, and tallest parts you coat regularly. Add clearance for hanging, gun access, and safe movement. If most work fits a smaller envelope, buy for that volume. Oversizing for rare parts usually costs floor space and freight without helping throughput.
7×7×10 vs 10×8×8
Two stock booths cover most fab-shop needs:
- 7×7×10 powder coat booth — a compact footprint for smaller parts and shops that need to preserve floor space.
- 10×8×8 powder coat booth — more width and working room for larger fabrications and mixed production.
Working depth can be set in 2-ft sections on applicable builds—confirm when you inquire. Electrical on the 10×8 package can be single-phase or three-phase to match your utility.
When a dust collector only makes sense
If you already have a booth shell, shipping container room, or sandblast enclosure, a full booth kit may not be the right first buy. The 10×8 dust collector is available alone for powder or sandblast duty and retrofit work. We can also provide a 7×7 dust collector depending on the application (for example how big the sandblasting room is)—ask us; 10×8 remains the main listed size. Pair either with a filter purge kit configured for your process.
Steer to stock sizes
